John Pollard is Senior Director of Education for IGI, expanding the institute’s programs in seven countries and directing courses for clients in all sectors, including leading luxury brands. A consultant to manufacturers and retailers on three continents, he has lectured at The World Diamond Congress, JCK Vegas, AGS Conclave, GIA AA, Jewelers of America, WJA, IIJS and expos in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. Published in Gem-A, the Journal of Gemology, John is a board-certified educator with degrees in education, gemology and music. A two-time Education Foundation Award winner, he has instructed thousands and is an advocate for youth education, serving on Music For All’s national Board.
